This project consists of redesigning the covers of a collection of English textbooks. The bases for the conceptualization of the project were young culture and grafitti. On each cover, we have represented a teenager corresponding to the age group of the volume, expressing their physical characteristics, their tastes and ways of expressing themselves.
The graffiti backgrounds give graphic identity to the pieces and mark the differentiation between the books. To illustrate the project, I invited Lambuja, a Brazilian illustrator known for working with digital painting and hyperrealism. His slightly caricatured trait and facility to create expressive characters gave grace and personality to the pieces, integrating their human figures to the plated background.
